Misdemeanor OVI, criminal, and traffic cases in nearly all of Huron County are heard in Norwalk Municipal Court, which covers the county except Lyme and Sherman townships. Felony charges go to the Huron County Court of Common Pleas in Norwalk.
Ohio OVI penalties are the same statewide — what changes is the courtroom. These are the ranges set by ORC 4511.19, based on prior convictions within ten years:

A test result of .17% BAC or higher is a “high-test” OVI and doubles the mandatory minimum jail time on a first offense. And the clock matters: you have just 30 days from arrest to appeal the administrative license suspension, and your arraignment comes much sooner.
